Add A Soundtrack To Any Website With Spotify Play

Spotify has announced a new widget (simply named Play) that lets you embed songs, albums, and playlists on any website. All you need is a simple HTML code, and Play can be easily added to any site.

To play music from Play widgets, you (or potential listeners) need to have an account with Spotify and either have the Spotify app installed on your computer or mobile device.

If you'd like to create a custom Spotify Play widget, check out developer.spotify.com. Their is a quick 3-step process to follow, and before you know it you'll have a soundtrack ready to embed on your site.
