A new SoundCloud experience is coming! And word is "The Next SoundCloud" will be simpler, faster, and more social.

The new SoundCloud upgrades are currently available in beta mode for a lucky few. For those of us who don't have the luxury of playing with "The Next SoundCloud," the company did provide us with a clear outline of what we can look forward to upon launch.

New SoundCloud upgrades and changes include:

• A simpler attractive profile
• A more interactive waveform player
• New reposts allow friends, fans and followers to repost sounds and sets
• Real-time notifications of activity
• More intuitive navigation, including keyboard shortcuts
• Play sounds continuously: press play, explore and keep listening
• Improved search
• "Forget playlists" lets users build collections of sounds in one Waveform

Access to the new SoundCloud will be rolled out gradually.
