Talib Kweli "Distracts" Occupy Wall Street Protest [UPDATE]

Nearly 3 weeks into their occupation, Talib Kweli joins the Occupy Wall Street Protesters. "There's no other place in New York City to be," Kweli said. "People are taking their destiny in their own hands. This is one of the most American, if not the most American, things that I've ever seen. When I see things like Occupy Wall Street, I just try to align myself with things that make sense," Kweli added.

While in New York's Zuccotti Park, Kweli also performed a cappella version of a new unreleased track titled, "Distractions." The song deals with American complacency in regards to important issues.

No word as to when the full song will be released.
