Beat Your Friends & Make Them Squeal With Beatonica

Beatonica, a Crypton Future Media free web app, lets anyone with a browser make music by triggering their Twitter friends’ automatically-generated sounds. Word.
Here's how it works:
- First, Beatonica randomly assigns you and your Twitter buddies a sound from over 1,000 samples
- Next, you click friends to trigger the samples associated with them
- Then, you record a 16-step pattern
- Finally, you share your beat on social networks and/or through good ole' email.
Crypton calls Beatonica "a future instrument." But I just call it quirky.
Nothing against this free tool, it works as advertised, I just think its a one-and-done type of app.
Maybe you'll think otherwise.
