"The Dark Knight Rises" To Occupy Wall Street
post by KM"The Dark Knight Rises" heads to New York City. Director Christopher Nolan, the cast, and the crew of next summer's sequel to "The Dark Knight" will begin shooting scenes for the movie in NYC on October 24, 2011.
The Los Angeles Times is reporting that the ongoing "Occupy Wall Street" protest may become a backdrop in the new film. It is likely that protesters will be visible in the background of some Manhattan scenes.
"The Dark Knight Rises" is scheduled for a July 20, 2012 release date. The film stars Christian Bale as Batman, Tom Hardy as Bane, and Anne Hathaway as Catwoman.
