Celebrating The Life & Legacy Of Steve Jobs
post by KMApple held a private memorial service for employees to celebrate the life and legacy of former CEO and co-founder Steve Jobs. The service took place on the morning of October 19, 2011 at Apple's Cupertino, CA headquarters.
Current CEO Tim Cook states (in an email to employees) the celebration was for employees to
"take time to remember the incredible things Steve achieved in his life and the many ways he made our world a better place."Apple retail stores were closed for several hours as employees worldwide were able to watch a live webcast of the event online.
