Is Google Buying Yahoo!?

Word has it, according to a report from the Wall Street Journal, Google is exploring the possibility of partnering up to buy Yahoo. Imagine that. Two of the Internet's largest companies coming together.

Apparently the talks are still in their early-stages, as no formal proposal has been reached. Either way, the idea of the Google buying up its search engine competition is nothing less than intriguing.

The search giant recently made this year's largest property purchase in Silicon Valley with a $100 million 240,000 square-foot office complex in Mountain View, California, named The Landmark at Shoreline
The complex is made to fit 960 employees.
