Steve Jobs Biography A Top-Seller

The new biography "Steve Jobs," by Walter Isaacson could be the best selling book of 2011 on Amazon.com. The biography of Apple's co-founder hit digital bookshelves late Sunday, October 23, and is currently the top-selling physical and digital book on Amazon's respective stores.

"The way things are trending, it could very likely be our top-selling book of the year," stated Amazon spokeswoman Brittany Turner.

Anticipation for a glimpse into the private life of Steve Jobs was already high prior to the icon's death. With his passing on October 5, the new book quickly moved up Amazon's charts with increased sales projected at 40,000%. The biography has also received a great amount of media attention including an interview with author Walter Isaacson which aired on CBS' "60 Minutes."

For those unfamiliar, the book is based on more than forty interviews Steve Jobs conducted over two-years—as well as interviews with more than a hundred family members, friends, adversaries, competitors, and colleagues.
