Jay-Z and Rocawear have removed their Occupy Wall Street t-shirt line from Rocawear.com -- days after the rap mogul came under intense fire from critics for cashing in on the protest, without donating a penny of the profits to the cause.

“We have not made an official commitment to monetarily support the movement,” a Rockawear spokeswoman told Gawker.com.

Jay-Z was pictured wearing the "Occupy All Streets" shirt earlier this week when Russell Simmons tweeted a photo of the duo backstage at a concert. View Photo

Before the shirts were removed from the brand’s site...TMZ spoke with Grim, one of the leaders of the Occupy movement, who told them, "Jay-Z, as talented as he is, has the political sensibility of a hood rat and is a scrotum. To attempt to profit off of the first important social moment of 50 years with an overpriced piece of cotton is an insult to the fight for economic civil rights known as #occupywallstreet."

Rocawear announced on 11/10/11 that it planned to sell the shirts for $22.
